It is time to reveal the truth about happiness. There are two ways to be happy. The one way is the temporary happiness for example when you eat ice cream, or you do some fun stuff with your friends or other entertainment. It has got a starting and an ending point. The other way is the continuous inner happiness which you always have inside yourself, carrying with you and you feel this happy emotion at the time or can recall it whenever you want.

Toxic behavior has become standard in our lives.

The ultimate goal is to learn how to have inner happiness and top it up with entertainment whenever you want to. But when you do not have the inner happiness, and you don’t know what makes you happy, and you are carrying all the wounds and limitations within yourself and are even living these limitations full of negative emotions, emotional pain and stopping yourself from flying free and happy… and then, when you are trying all kind of entertainment happiness to overwrite the negative emotions from this point. What do you think will happen? Yes, it is resulting in emotional eating, over-consuming of alcohol, sugar, spending a lot of money on things you might not need or can’t afford… all in all this is toxic behavior. But somehow this became normal in our society.

What is happiness?

Happiness is an emotion within us which we all know. When we talk about happiness, we all mean the same emotion. But the truth is what makes us happy is different for each person. This means that there is not one rule for all people about happiness.

Everything we do in our lives everything we buy everything we tried to achieve in our life is because we want to be loved and to be happy. Their underlining result of everything that we want to achieve is to be happy. But unfortunately, happiness is not being told in school anymore. And nobody is teaching us for our kids what makes us happy and how can we achieve happiness. With all the new media, with all the technology, everything that is being taught, is just that people show us what we can buy to be happy, what we should achieve to be happy, but nobody is showing you what is the right way for you to be happy.

This new lifestyle results in that now we have more kids and young adults in depression than ever before. And this is as well one of the reasons why yoga, meditation, mindfulness, minimalism and spiritual lifestyles became more and more popular over the last years. But is this really the solution for a happy life? Well, there is a truth to it.

Is there a way to be happy?

There are different ways to find happiness. If you really want to be happy, there is not a solution to just find one thing that makes you happy, buy it and that’s it. Happiness bought as easy as pushing a button… Sorry to disappoint you at this point. Instead, you need to look at all aspects of your life and make sure that you are living up to your expectations and values for yourself. As well, it is especially important for you to realize: Are you living the life you really want or are you just living someone else’s dreams and trying to fulfil somebody else’s expectations towards your life.

With everything that is happening right now in the world so many of us are just being stuck indoors or being stuck to one location and we are not as free as we used to be. This time helps us to entertain ourselves less and have more time to reflect.

What am I doing and why do I feel this way? What are all these negative emotions?

This results as well in more awakening and more and more people started questioning the life they are living.

Therefore, it’s so important when you start to reflect on your life, and you realize that most things you do are not making you happy that you find a life coach, a consultant or a counsellor – somebody qualified you can talk to and share your thoughts with. So that you do not drop down deep in a whole.

In the past 12 months, I have seen it a lot. People started to have time to be by themselves, with limited entertainment and were falling into a hole because of the reflection, and they realize that they are not living a life they want to live.

And what are all these emotions coming up at the same time?!

Especially when you are surrounded by toxic people or a toxic surrounding this can be very challenging and depressing.
